Remember the first abortion service ad in UK? Well, we have seen how it caused much controversy from several quarters. Now, The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has rejected more than 1,000 complaints about the UK’s first television commercial for abortion services.
The campaign ‘Are You Late?â was for Marie Stopes International (MSI) which directed women who have missed a period to contact its 24-hour helpline.
The main criticism about the ad was that it promoted abortion. However ASA observed that advertisement did not breach its code of practice.
