These are some promotional pictures printed on the catalogues of a children’s clothes company, No Added Sugar, was banned recently by the advertising watchdog. The Advertising Standards Authority ruled that several images within it were found guilty of sexualizing the child models involved. The ASA initiated investigation after receiving complaints that the catalogue contained a series of offensive and irresponsible images.
On the other hand, the company in its defense argued that their intention was to create a modern and edgy fashion shoot. It further maintained that they were expecting some negative feedback but they were shocked when they learnt that sexual references had been perceived.
