Apple had launched this television commercial during the Academy Awards to promote its upcoming iPhone. The advertisement is quite unique as it has featured characters from 31 movies and TV shows and all of them has been depicted saying ‘hello’ in their own style turn by turn. The commercial ends with the name of John Appleseed and two catch words, hello and ‘coming in June’.
The advertisement interestingly begins with Lucille Ball answering a prototype phone and from there it proceeds ahead to display the timely transformations in telephone industry has experienced at different point of time. The notion was to take the audience into future where there will be a guarantee of better phone. Overall, it was a very interesting advertisement for iPhone.
