AOL’s latest ad campaign “I am” for the Online Instant Messenger (AIM) is accused of ‘offending the Almighty’. Some Ian Millar in his letter to Jonathan Millar complained (now you don’t get confused, they are different Millars) that using ‘Third Commandment’ for professional and marketing purposes should not be done. Going a step further Ian Millar asked whether the creator of the ad has ever attended ‘Sunday school of Jewish services.’

However, the client and its creative agency are not taking this too seriously. Because ‘they’ve got far bigger things to be getting on with’.

Will Travis, president of ATTIK, the advertising agency that created the slogan for AIM. ‘We’d never do something to make people upset and blasphemy is the last thing on our mind.’
