Will this social media campaign inspire the governments to think seriously about the protection of Asian elephants? Anyway, in association with non-profit communications agency Good Agency, Elephant Family had launched a campaign with a view to put pressure on the government on this issue.
Elephant Family, which is committed to protect Asian elephants and their habitats, was behind the hugely successful Elephant Parade London 2010 â the cityâs biggest ever outdoor art exhibition. The online campaign asks the supporters of the parade to generate signatures for an online petition to protect Asian elephants.
As part of the campaign, The Good Agency developed an online video that combines visuals of the intricately designed sculptures and footage of real-life Asian elephantsâ struggle to cope up with their surroundings. . Promoted through Facebook and Twitter, the video aims to get 100,000 signatures to deliver to 10 Downing Street, demanding a debate in the House of Commons.
