This remarkable print advertisement launched by Amnesty International is trying to draw public attention towards a burning problem that in many parts of the world children are being given arms to use them during violence.
The campaign is very straightforward and is trying to spark off emotional chord of people to think and put efforts in this direction and save children from violence. The advertisement is showing a boy standing against a wall who has already lost one of his arms. In addition, the corresponding text has been printed on that very side, where arm of the boy is missing. The advertisement was launched in Greece.
The presentation of the campaign is extremely simple and the message has been effectively communicated to the people without any ambiguity. However, a few eyebrows were raised over the utility and conceptualization of the copy, but the copy has added a punch to the basic illustration. The copy of the ad reads, ‘No arms to children.
