This anti-smoking print advertisement launched by Al Mara to make people feel where smoking eventually leads to. The advertisement apparently aims at making people aware about the effects and result of smoking. However, the appearance of the advertisement seems to be slightly perplexing as it struggles to depict the core idea. The advertisement is showing a half burnt cigarette and smoke is going downward than upward as the it has been presented upside down manner.
The downward movement of the smoke clearly spells out which course life would take if indulged in smoking. The presentation of the campaign is good but still its not gripping and making people compelled to take the message effectively. However, the message has been properly conveyed through the help of visualization and the text used in it. The punch line of the campaign reads, ‘Smoking is one un-natural way of going down on life.’ The advertisement was designed by UMS Oman.
