A bollywood actress rescues a malnourished cat from the street of Mumbai. She brings it to the veterinary hospital and prays for its recover. She even adopts the cat and calls her âSoftyâ
PETA gives her ââHero to Animals’ award, considering this kind action.
The actress is Zarine Khan (Veer fame) and the award comes under PETA’s ‘Proud to Be Indian’ campaign which encourages people to rescue animals from the streets or adopt them from animal shelters.
Well, we should appreciate the action of kindness. But, why should all the awards from PETA go only to the celebrities? We can indeed find out many examples of animal love from common people. PETA seems to be myopic to those efforts.
