PETA is adept in sensing and grabbing every opportunity to make some naked noise for its publicity. (for a detailed report read this). Now, here is another incident, which can be described as a tit-for-tat response to PETAâs publicity-hungry circus.
The clever player at the other end was Chrysler’s Dodge brand. It has created an ad for their “Big Tent Event” which featured a monkey dressed like a stuntman doing fireworks. But, sensing an opportunity, PETA stumbled upon it furiously asking dodge to pull the ad.
Dodge, altered the spot–which now features a digitally-erased “invisible” monkey. They even created a microsite called “Where’s the Monkey?” to get a little press of their own.
Not bad. Isnât?
