Activist Will St. Leger had placed around 100 fake landmines in public parks around Dublin, Ireland to draw people to think of the fate of people of those 80 countries who face it everyday. The campaign was launched with a view to ask question themselves, ‘what if the world I walked in was littered with landmines?’ The idea was evidently to turn attention this deadly threat it virtually pose to millions of people in 80 countries every day.
The idea was excellently executed which might have compelled to think many towards this problem in many countries. Despite war ended long time ago in those countries but people of the countries still face the risk of landmines. The fake landmine was made of stenciled metal plates that carried a sticker with information on landmines.
