In advertising, usually one agencyâs loss is another agencyâs gain. However, when Unilever ended its ties with ad agency Lowe London, which has been managing the creative part of Peperami for 15 years, it is not any advertising agency that is going to get the benefit. A Tom, Dick or Harry is going to be the fortunate one.
Unilever is launching a competition that asks the public to create a new TV ad for Peperami. Anyone who is interested in the contest can register on the site to receive a brief from 28 August. The closing date for entries is 23 October. The winning idea will receive what Unilever is calling a “bounty” of $10,000.
The ideas should be centered on the animal character, which was earlier developed by Lowe.
