Crisis is a situation that we would love to eliminate. We are somewhat fed up with reading about crisis. Anyway, Leo Burnett Lisbon has taken a unique step to literally omit the word crisis.
They have created a Firefox browser plug-in that will replace the word “crisis” on sites you visit with the word “opportunity.” It works in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The idea, according to them, is to make the people to see the positive thing in any negative situation. The agency says that ‘opportunity’ is the best word to replace the word crisis.
So, if it makes anything positive, we can move further. We can start deleting those hateful words like terrorism, poverty, hate, nepotism etc.
