Truth is an obscure thing. When we cut it into pieces, what remains will be slices of half-truths or utter lies, probably. Media is concerned with truths which seem like lies, and lies which seem like truths. When a particular news media, whether it is newspaper, tv channel or website, advertises, the prominence will be on claiming its impartial view and its ability to impart truth from the complicated mixture of half-truths and lies.
Well, we have seen many of such ads before. It is also about perspectives. This print campaign for The European.de, presents itself as one which provides the news beyond the usual and obvious. For this, the agency behind this campaign features some scenes that have global implications and put commas after them, with a bit humorous touch.
