Newspaper industry seems to have started experimenting vigorously different ways to revive its ad sales as the industry facing an acute problem of constantly slipping their ad revenue. As the NewsDesigner has reported, the industry has devised a new way of representing advertisements in their paper, which is called adscapes. Adscapes have provided a brand new look of advertising into papers and the advertisements in the papers are now not restricted to squares and rectangles as they are now available in different shapes and sizes.

However, intense debate is already on how to increase the ad sales for the print medium and whether switching over to a new kind of advertising as that of adscapes would be effective and beneficial. Some analysts strongly argue that the readership of newspapers have not gone down because of internet or bad writing but due to the rigid aesthetic thought.
