Allen Rosenshine, chairman BBDO advertising agency is planning to retire by the end of this year, reported Reuters. Rosenshine is one the most prominent executives in the advertising industry. Rosenshine is the man who was instrumental in creating Omnicom group through merger and acquisition of various leading ad and media agencies in mid eighties. At present, Omnicom Group, parent company of BBDO, is the world’s largest advertising services firm.
Rosenshine evidently credited for the phenomenal rise of BBDO, which is at present running 287 offices in 77 countries with many prominent corporate clients. As matter of fact, Rosenshine had stepped down from the post of chief executive of Omnicom to run BBDO.
