1. Fenugreek tea
This is a remedy without any side effects which can be used regularly if you are not traveling. Use a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds and add to a liter of water while it is boiled for drinking. Drink this water frequently every day instead of plain mineral water. The anti inflammatory properties of fenugreek will reduce tonsillitis and inflammation of the lymphatic system. Within a few days of taking fenugreek water, your bad breath would be reduced considerably.
2. Avocado
Sometimes bad breath is the result of particles of food that is trapped in the intestine without digestion. To prevent food decay in the colon and to encourage the smooth removal of food through the intestine, avocados are a good option. Avocados are rich in fatty acids. When you eat avocados, the intestine will be coated with a fatty layer so that the food can easily slide through without sticking on the walls. Use avocados whenever your bad breath aggravates.

The trapped food particles in between the teeth can be removed by chewing crunchy guavas after food. Baking soda can be used instead of toothpaste for brushing your teeth. Use half a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water for swishing your mouth after every meal. This will prevent oxygenation of food in the mouth that can cause bad breath.
