U.S. internet group Yahoo is all set to upgrade its Web search advertising system. The Project Panama will look and feel all the same like before. Only users will find the text ads next to the main search results. Yahoo claims it will be an interesting experience for the users. Yahoo is completely redesigning the online advertising search choice based on new application program interface. The API platform will be different from country to country.
RBC Capital Markets, a research firm estimates that if the model works, Yahoo will increase its revenue from search engine by at least 20%.
It further estimates that Goolge’s focused adsense program will let it earn about 40% more in every search than Yahoo.
