Yahoo and Vodafone have recently forged a strategic alliance to exploit their area of expertise to position them in mobile advertising business. Both the company companies have teamed up to improve the customer experience on mobile and creating a new platform for their revenue. Forging this partnership Yahoo has become Vodafone’s exclusive display advertising partner in U.K.
The advertising plans offer the customers who opt-in to accept cautiously targeted display advertisements and in turn the customers can receive benefits and savings of certain Vodafone services. The recent alliance may also provide a fresh lease of life as the company has announced a loss of $8.6 billion during the first half of the current year.
