This print campaign for Energizer, developed by DDB, Bogota, Colombia, tries to say the product benefits by reflecting the negative aspects of similar products from other brands. So, what we can see is ‘no pictures’ of beautiful Eiffel tower and statue of liberty.

Such strategies of banking on negative aspects have often an inherent risk of being rejected at once by the target audience. But sometimes, giving emphasis to negative aspects may turn out to be positive for the brands for example- insurance ads often banks on insecurity feeling of the target audience.
