How can you understand the situation of the hapless homeless persons? Just imagine yourself as homeless, for a few moments! This awareness campaign for Weingart Homeless Center by David & Goliath Los Angeles, USA, precisely make this thought come true.
The campaign has a non-traditional approach. They photographed a dozen of the 70.000 homeless people living on the streets of Los Angeles. These homeless people wrote a message on blank cardboard sign- âBefore you turn away, put yourself in my placeâ.
They changed the images into photo-realistic cardboard cutouts. They removed the faces from the cut-outs and placed them in shopping centers at Bevery Hills and Santa Monica. They got noticed and helped to raise funds for Weingart Homeless Center.
The credit goes to the agency for kindling the hidden kindness in all of us.
