In the inaugural World Baseball Classic five of the sixteen teams will sport advertisements either on their uniform or on helmet. Soft drink maker Asahai has roped in Japan for the deal. It will use the uniform for the promotion where as helmets will be sponsored by Konami, a Japanese video game maker. Maltin Polar goes with Venezuela. Cable & Wireless ads will be featured in Panama uniform.
The patches on the jerseys will be around 4 inches by 4.
