Those leaves are beautiful, but seem synthetic. And these synthetic leaves have made VisitScotland feel uneasy about their recent campaign.
VisitScotland, the national tourism agency of Scotland, used plastic autumn leaves to promote the country as an autumn destination. The name of the campaign was âcapture an autumn momentââ.
Tourists may not like to capture a synthetic autumn moment.
However, the happiness and beautiful smiling face of the little girl in the ad are not synthetic. Her name is Autumn Doring (they wanted to use the picture of a girl named âautumnâ)
Though the agency is trying to play down this âminor effortâ, the news is not a good one for the discerning visitors.
