Unicast, the advertising arm of Viewpoint Corporation, the internet marketing and technology company has claimed that Honda and MSN have unveiled industry’s first ever click to full screen video ad. You can watch it here. If you wish to view the ad, which is created jointly by Unicast and RPA can click on it directly to launch the full screen version. The spot features the 2006 Honda Odyssey and goes live on MSN Autos web page. The press release claims that The Honda advertisement is the first ever made rich media ad through which it can better target its audience on the web.
Patrick Vogt, CEO of Viewpoint feels that Honda ad is a perfect example where technology is properly and artfully integrated with rich media.
