Judge a person by his way of talking, by his friends, by his attire, but by his favourite beer brand? Well, a new study says that you can judge people by knowing what their favourite beer brand is. This curious study has been conducted by Mindset Media, the market researcher specializing in psychographics.

The study, which included responses from more than 2,600 people online, ‘found out’ that a person’s choice of a particular beer brand is closely associated with his socio-political behaviour. For example, people who prefer domestic beers over craft beers or imports are generally not nearly as conservative as people who don’t drink beer at all, but not as liberal as people who prefer more exotic beer. Likewise, people who drink a broad portfolio of beers are more open-minded and emotional people who enjoy a variety of life experiences.
