This is an interesting advertisement published in the Tehran Times newspaper on behalf of a group called Danes for World Peace. The advertisement is showing a photograph of Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. President of Iran and beneath the photograph it is carrying five anti-American statements what appears to support Iran’s anti-US posture.
However, a close examination of the arrangement of texts reveals that taking the first letter of each statement one can read as ‘SWINE’. Later on it was found that the perpetrator of the ad was a Danish street art group, Surrend.
Surrend has posted in its website that its mission is to make fun of the world’s powerful men. This group had earlier undertaken campaign in places such as Serbia, Belarus and Sri Lanka using the street as its exhibition space.
