When we see advertising which we considered as out-of-the-box, we shower praises on the agency and its creative team. But there is another fact that we often forget. The role of the client. Client? Yes, clients! Because a good, creative work needs to be approved by a sensible client who is ready to take the âcreative riskâ. Jewelry brands in India are usually reluctant to deviate from the âsafe pathâ.
Here, in this campaign for Prince Jewellery, it is slightly different, though it is repetitive in its manner.
The print campaign, developed by Rubecon, Chennai, India aims to promote the Antique Jewellery Exhibition. In the ads, we see a fat old woman gazing jealously at the models ornaments. However, the same model, and the same idea in all the ads makes this campaign a bit monotonous.
However, this is a slightly fresh deviation from the beaten track. I mean, comparatively.
