Would you leave one beer for Santa, instead of cookies and milk? Anyway, ads by Labatt at Mac’s Convenience Stores across Ontario say- âLeave one out for Santa. He’s driving,” and show a bottle of Labatt’s Blue de-alcoholized beer.
The ads have drawn mixed reactions from consumers. Some consumers feel that this will send a wrong message to children. Some feels that making an association of drinking beer, though a less-alcohol contained one, with driving is against the ethics of advertising.
But Labatt is saying that the message is to remind people not to drink and drive, especially during the holiday season.
That seems reasonable.
