After reaping good result from the ‘Then and Now’ campaign, aired during 2006 Winter Olympic, long financially troubled GM wants a turn around with a sequel. This new 60 second, ‘Same company, new tune,’ (that’s the tagline) GM commercial will feature celebrities like Tiger Woods, Carmen Electra, Jeremy Piven, Detroit rap group Slum Village, Frank Gorshin and above all Marilyn Monroe. The ad will be first aired on ‘Survivor: Panama — Exile Island.’

Birmingham-based McCann Erickson creation, the ad will retain the ‘AM Radio’ number by Everclear, which was used in the first ad. During the ad it will also flash statements like ‘Then Peace. Now Love’ and ‘Then Swing. Now Bling.’
