This anti-poverty print advertisement campaign was launched by Salvation Army in Canada to create public support to fight eradicating poverty. The campaign draws an emotion picture of people trapped in poverty for life long giving impression as if they serving a life sentence. The advertisements are showing an old woman and a young woman with a child in an extremely impoverished condition counting days to get emancipated from the curse.
The presentation of the first advertisement is actually more impressive and touching than the second one. However, in totality presentation of both advertisements is impressive and touchy that effectively carries the idea. The art direction of it is simply fantastic. The text of the advertisement reads, ‘Poverty should not be a life sentence’. The campaign was developed by ACLC, Toronto.
