The New York Times has promoted Virginia P French to group vice president, up from national advertising. Ms. French, 52, has been taking care of newspaper’s national sales offices since 2000. She has also successfully led the arts and entertainment group for the national expansion of the brand.
Two other executives, Seth Rogin, 32, and Andy Wright, 41, are also promoted to the post of vice presidents for advertising and sales. They will be responsible for fashion, beauty, classified advertising and retailing, among other categories.
