Plymouth Gin is all set to launch its debut ad campaign in this month. This ad campaign will be virtually its first consumer advertising campaign. The total ad expenditure has been calculated at £2 million and the ad will appear on daily newspapers and lifestyle magazines. Further, in London there will be billboards displaying the advertisement of Plymouth Gin.
The campaign includes five advertisements showing a pour of Plymouth Gin escaping some quick objects such as crocodile, a porcupine and a shark’s fin. The ad will carry a strap line saying, ‘Nothing comes close to the smoothness of Plymouth Gin’. Further, it is understandable the ad will most likely to target its consumer aged above 40.
In fact Plymouth these days trying hard to shift to a new brand strategy and the launch of the new look is also a part of this strategy.
