This is an unusual and slightly confusing PETA campaign undertaken in the category of social awareness by Playboy Brazil to create awareness for animal rights and gather support for the cause. However, it apparently reflects as a marketing gimmick for the magazine itself rather advertising any social cause. As Peta campaigns are much closer to revealing nudity to attract people’s attention and the magazine in question too somewhat draws similarity with it. Another aspect of the campaign is, nudity has become so prominent that undermines and overshadows the social message it intends to convey.

In addition, it reflects more of a promotional campaign for the magazine, advertising in way that stamps the features for what it is well known. The presentation of this outdoor campaign might have, undoubtedly, attracted considerable and compelling attention from people around, but now it is slightly difficult to ascertain whether the awareness program was for PETA or the magazine. The tag line of the campaign was, ‘we support’. The campaign was developed by Neogama/BBH.
