People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals [PETA] has launched this print advertisement featuring NBA superstar Dennis Rodman continuing its offensive on the use of fur for apparels. The star campaigner has covered his body only with tattoos for the anti-fur ad released in Beijing last month. This time the organization decided to cash in the popularity of Rodman who has been in controversies in the past.
The presentation of the advertisement centers on the star NBA player and on his tattooed body to underscore the theme of the Peta campaign. The appearance of the advertisement is quite straight and simple that normally communicates its message. However, this time Peta seems to be not generating the appeal what it had earlier been doing with past campaigns. The text of the ad reads, ‘Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs’.
