Pattex had recently launched this ambient advertisement campaign in Germany during a football match to promote its glue. The campaign aims at focusing the extreme gluing power of Pattex in an interesting way. To make it an effective campaign, official footballs were attached to the pattex advertising boards. This arrangement had given impression that balls actually missed the goal post and got stuck on the board, in order to display the power of gluing.
Interestingly, the more numbers of ball started to appear on the board as the game progressed ahead. The presentation of the campaign was no doubt intelligent and lucid that effectively demonstrated the product benefit in an effective manner. The campaign was aimed at targeting over 60,000 people in the stadium and approximately 9 million television viewers at home, which seems to be successfully achieved.
