Amidst the launch of Treo 680, Palm has announced that it has shifted its global creative account to San Francisco based Young and Rubicam and changed its incumbent creative account holder AQKA. Palm has also announced its latest major advertisement initiative to target potential customers for its brand new product Treo 680 smartphone.
According to the reports, the latest ad campaign expenditure falls somewhere in the bracket of $20-$25 million, this amount is higher than previous year’s $15 million.
Palm has already started rolling out various kinds of ads with the support from content partners TypePad, Google and Yahoo. The latest ad offensive bears a slogan, ‘Not Just a cellphone. A Treo!’.
