McDonald’s has created another joke. This time the target audience is students. They invite the students to âcome as you areâ, it doesnât matter whether you pass the exam or fail.
Yes, if all the worries originates from hunger, if eating a lot of fast food makes you happy and wipe your sadness away, rushing to McDonaldâsâ will help you. Unfortunately, this is not so.
This print campaign, created by BETC EURO RSCG, features two weeping students. One is weeping because he has failed in the exam. And, another student, who has passed the exam, too weeps, I am not so sure why. Yes, sometimes we weep even when we are extremely happy. (or, the student who failed in the exam may be her boy friend)
This campaign came out on the day of the Baccalauréat exam results. So, the ads have a short shelf-life, with limited target audience.
