PricewaterhouseCoopers has predicted that on-line advertising would touch around $26 billion by the year 2010.
If the projected sum is realized, that would establish a rise of 60 percent compared to the projected expenditure of the year 2006, which stands at $16 billion a year.
The research forecast was published in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Entertainment and Media Outlook, 2006-2010.
Internet advertising spending by the advertisers would include online display, classified, search advertising and the classified advertisement appeared on Newspaper Websites.
