Internet advertising, in U.S., is all set to surpass $16 billion this year with additional growth forecast in coming times, revealed eMarketer in New York. eMarketer is expecting Internet advertisement spending to rise by six percent in the year 2006 to touch $16.4 billion mark compared to last year. The Internet ad spending clearly is clearly increasing at the cost of traditional media. Traditional media such as TV, radio and newspapers is struggling to raise their ad revenue as there is almost negligible or declining growth rate in ad revenue.
