South African egg company Nulaid had rolled out this print advertisement campaign to boost its much celebrated reputation of avoiding bad eggs. The campaign clearly aims at establishing the firm’s ability to spot and prevent bad eggs going into circulation for sale.

The advertisement campaign is showing a few historic and current notorious personalities, such as Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden and Kim Jong II, in the form of eggs in order to depict bad eggs.

However, the idea of using this genre of personalities, particularly representing negative shades, has become quite repetitive now, from creative point of view. This advertisement campaign undoubtedly a good example of smart presentation of idea but lacks freshness and originality.

Moreover, the campaign is able to convey its message across and makes a strong point using humorous approach. The print campaign was developed by The Jupiter Drawing Room, South Africa. The punch line of the campaign reads, ‘History produced a lot of bad eggs. Thankfully ours are always good’. The punch line is not catchy but it quite communicative.
