Indian Paper Manufacturersâ Association (IPMA) is complaining that Ideaâs âuse mobile save paperâ campaign is in fact pitched against the usage of paper and so it makes a negative impact on the industry. They are reportedly conveyed this concern to the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI).
Idea’s commercial featured brand ambassador Abhishek Bachchan in the image of a tree, who advocates saving trees by adopting paperless options in everyday life.
Anyway, Idea has taken this commercial off air, but it says that it has nothing to do with the objections raised by IPMA. It is because every ad and campaign are done for a certain period.
That seems true, anyway.
