McDonald less heavy on children programme

You won’t see much of French Fries, Filet-O-Fish sandwiches and Chicken McNuggets on children television programmes. McDonald has cut down 40% of its advertising budget on programmers showing children content. It wants to advertise healthier products like, fruit bags, which parents will agree upon spending more on restaurants.

The Obesity Action Coallition says McDonald’s is still targeting them through its sports sponsorship deals and says there should be more restrictions on advertising.
