We know that the first abortion ad in UK has been released, paving way for some hot discussions and controversies. Well, here is an advertising campaign that depicts the baby Jesus in the Virgin Mary’s womb, with a message- He’s on his way: Christmas starts with Christ.
The Campaign, which shows a scan of a foetus with a halo above its head, will be featured on billboards over Christmas.
The poster has been developed by Churchads.net, the “Ultrasound Jesus” campaign is backed by a number of Christian organisations including the Church of England, the Baptist Union, the United Reformed Church, the Anglican and the Methodist churches.
But, some are accusing the posters are a subtle attempt to reflect its pro-life philosophy. The National Secular Society (NSS) has criticised the ad, saying it gives the impression that it is politically motivated.
