As part of the campaign, a special issue of the magazine EastTouch came dressed in mini Levi’s 501s. Readers literally had to “unbutton” the jeans to get the magazine. The 10,000 limited edition denim-clad copies sold out within three days.

This highly innovative strategy created a buzz and massive media coverage.
