First Lady Laura Bush will feature in a campaign for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization. A Boston VogtGoldstein creation this national public service advertising (PSA) effort will come in television and radio. In the campaign Laura Bush is encouraging adults to volunteer as mentors. Mrs Bush has urged viewers and listeners to visit http://www.bigbrothersbigsisters.org and said mentors can help youngsters (there are 14 million in America as per the reports by the Annie E. Casey Foundation) build a strong character so that they can make wise and healthy decisions.
In 2005 Mrs. Bush started a campaign, Helping America’s Youth, which involved parents, pastors, coaches and teachers The program aimed to emphasize on concepts like family, school and community.
