According to a report, Australian children are increasingly being used as models in commercials wearing skimpy outfit. The report has further branded this entire trend as ‘Corporate Pedophilia’, which infuriated private sector as well. The report also alleged that pre-teenaged children are being depicted in sexualized manner in sophisticated ad campaigns as the clothing and cosmetics companies are using everything to reach millions dollar worth younger market.
However, according to the advertisement watchdog, they have not received any specific complaints on this particular issue as of now therefore, there is no active complaint regarding the issue is pending with the ASA.
