Magazine ads are getting more interactive. Even there are magazine ads we can watch and hear. When recession showed sad pictures it also showed us how creative we can be. That is why we have seen creative efforts from people including jobseekers and the pink-slipped ones.I think this particular situation also motivated brands to utilize space or the medium in a better way. That is why we are seeing more interactive and unique ads today.
I am not saying that this magazine cover ad for Clear is exceptionally good. However, it also belongs to the group which utilizes the new trend. To show the effectiveness of the product in eliminating dandruff, a woman with dandruff visible on her shoulder was featured. When the user removes the cover of the ad, he can see a dandruff-free shoulder.
