This new television commercial which announces ICICI Direct.com’s direct link trading terminal, tries to come across the message in a rather direct way. The terminal enables equity trading in both National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange, and derivatives in NSE. It provides live streaming quotes with advance charting tools.
The commercial, developed by Dentsu Creative Impact, features a man who is getting ready to go for work from his home. We can see his family members helping him out. But at the end of the commercial, the man is actually heading towards another room in the house, where he sits at his computer to switch on the terminal and begin his day at work. The TVC ends revealing the product and featuring its advantages.
One can argue that there are many interesting alternatives for the way of story telling in this commercial. But, we should agree to the fact that the message is completely conveyed through this commercial.
