This is a very touchy and unusual print advertisement campaign launched by Huntington Society of Canada. According to a figure, every child born to a parent with Huntington disease has a 50 percent chance of sharing the same fate. The point of focus was for the first time in 135 years of study; Huntington’s was successfully cured in a mouse. And now there is a ray of hope that the disease can be fully cured which is not possible yet. The campaign is drawing emotional aspect trying to approach a serious question that even after seeing the havoc of disease animal testing can be banned.
The campaign was launched on the event of Huntington Disease Awareness Month. The presentation of the campaign is actually very direct and expressive and effective to a greater extent. The text of the first ad reads, ‘When I grow up, my body will be wracked by spasms so severe, I’ll burn 5,000 calories a day.’ And the text of the second ad reads, ‘When I grow up, my mind and body will slowly deteriorate until I choke to death trying to swallow.’ The campaign was created by OgilvyOne, Toronto, Canada.
