Greenpeace has launched this anti-whaling print advertisement to urge people and government authorities not to indulge in such activities as soon this species will come in the list of endangered animals. The advertisement in fact launched to express resent over a Japanese governments to lift a ban from whaling which was probably enforced in 1987. The advertisement seems to be showing the period when the law was enforced till it was again lifted and the period was obviously a happy time for whales.

The advertisement simply aims to establish that the happy period for whales are now over and they would soon be approaching death. However, to get this idea right it needs some time to think over it. Therefore, there was some space to make this advertisement more expressive. The text of the ad reads, ‘Stop whaling. Greenpeace.’ The advertisement was created by Leo Burnett, Chile.
