We all know the vested interest behind this move. Google has accomplished a good browser specific targeting out there. In U.S., Google is promoting the spreading of Firefox and that too on its homepage. Obviously Firefox is not complaining. In SpreadFirefox.com it says,
Thanks to the marketing team at Google, Firefox is the first third party product to be featured on Google’s homepage. For now, only IE users in the US will see the promo.
When launch of Live Winodw is on the corner you are ought to see special bonding like Google and Mozilla. However, I am sure tabbed browsing and safer surfing will give users users a better search experience.
I have a question, wont ‘simple’ Google homepage look a bit crowded with ad like this?
